Jennifer Cole

Jennifer ColeJennifer Cole is a life long resident of Hamilton Township. She lives with her husband, Allan on their farm near Plainville. She has worked with young people in conflict with the law for over 30 years, 24 years as a Youth Probation Officer. She has been a long term member on the Boards of the Northumberland Community Service Order Programme and the Camp Quin Mo Lac. With three grown children who have left the home, there is time to pursue personal interests. She is involved in church activities and enjoys yard work, skiing and the theatre.

John Davison

John DavidsonJohn is a retired Police Sergant with the Cobourg Police Service. He has lived in Hamilton Township for the past 19 yearswith his wife Susan where they raised two children and now grandparents of four. John has served on numerous boards in this policing career and is still a long time member of the Community Service Order Program. He enjoys hunting,refinishing furniture and working part time at a local dairy farm.

Dick Malowney

Dick MalowneyDick Malowney is a retired Director of Education with the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board. Dick spent 33 years in public education, serving in many roles, from teacher to principal, superintendent and, for almost 12 years, as Director of Education and Secretary of the Board. He has served with a number of Universities as Course Director in providing professional qualification courses for teachers in the field of Special Education, has worked on a number of Provincial level committees for both the Ministry of Education and various professional associations and was also elected as representative to the Ontario College of Teachers, where he served as Chair of a number of the College’s Discipline Tribunals.

He has always been a strong advocate for public education and children’s issues within our community. He is a trained mediator specializing in working with families and their special needs children.

Since his retirement he has been actively involved in a number of volunteer capacities throughout our community. He is currently President of the Board of Northumberland Respite Services and Past President of the Board of the Northumberland Children’s Aid Society and this year was elected to the position of Chairperson, Police Services Board of Hamilton Township. Provincially, Dick has recently completed a term on the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies in the office of Vice President. He is also an active member of the Northshore Probus Club, having served on the executive in different capacities, most recently as Vice President.

Mike Rostetter

Mike RostetterMike and his wife, Cathy, returned to reside in Hamilton Township over 32 years ago and have two grown daughters. Mike is a retired accredited professional, having spent 30 years in senior municipal management. He currently volunteers in community programs.

Gary Woods

Gary WoodsGary is a retired Police Inspector with 35 years of service with the Port Hope Police Service. He and his wife Judy have resided in the Township for almost 40 years. He is one of the Township of Hamilton Council’s representatives appointed to sit on the Township’s Police Services Board. He was been actively involved in sports and recreation in both the Township of Hamilton and Port Hope areas as well as being a member of Council.
